Create Beautiful Frames for Your Mirrors

We frame all of our most treasured photos and art. Why not create beautiful frames for your mirrors for an added touch of glamour in your home that reflects your style?

Frame building is a perfect project for beginning woodworkers and a snap for more seasoned craftsmen. All you need to do is measure and cut 2 boards exactly the same size for your width. Cut a groove along the sides of each for your mirror to rest against. Use a miter saw to cut one end of both boards at a 45 degree angle – making sure the grooved edges end up opposite the longer, pointier side. Then measure and cut your remaining two boards on a 45 degree angle in the opposite direction, so they fit together. Wood glue each joint and fasten with 2 nails close to each outside corner. Wipe excess glue, let dry overnight, sand, wipe free of dust and then apply your finish of choice!
